Coach and Horses

Welcome to the Coach And Horses

A traditional 18th Century coaching inn near Castle Goring

Come and relax and unwind with us at the Coach and Horses. This delightful pub serves wonderful food all freshly prepared using local produce by our landlady and her  professional team. We really are a traditional Old English Pub, with beamed ceilings and a roaring fire in winter, a comfortable snug area and a delightful patio and garden to enjoy when the sun shines.

NEWS UPDATE!!! OUR CASK MARQUE ACCREDITATION HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR 2012/2013 CONGRATS NICK!...

Enjoy a great pint of real ale too as we take great pride in serving all our beers at their best.

Quiz nights and other entertainment

Meet and make new friends during one of our special evenings - we have a quiz night every last Monday of the month, the next one is tonight, 29th April at 8pm, various live acts and special themed evenings.  Our new monthly JAZZ session opened with the FEATHERSTONE JAZZMEN ON THE 14TH MARCH and were very well received with a full house.  Don't miss their next appearance on the 13th JUNE and thereafter every 2nd Thursday of the month.  Aprile Biggs and her duo played here on the 21st March and her wonderfully rich vocals were enthusiastically appreciated by all the people who came to enjoy her music  - Aprile is a local musician covering contemporary Jazz classics and she will next be playing along with Alex Biggs on the 30th MAY, bookings are being taken for dinner....

Facilities at the Coach and Horses

We have a lovely play area for children in our large garden and our summer barbecues/braais are great for relaxed days out.  We are well placed for ose participating in local walks and ramblers often use us as a meeting point.  We offer business packages for people wishing to hold meetings or larger party events for those special celebrations - weddings, big birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, childrens parties in our pub or in our marquee on our spacious patio.  We also cater for personalised wakes

Richard Hadfield played last Friday evening to a crowded audience who all enjoyed his great music!  He is playing here again on the 21st of June so we are looking forward to that and hope to see you enjoy the evening with us.
